These events will provide a platform for thought leaders to share successful parallels in human design from: product, technology, experiential, art, and culture. The goal is to provide organizations with innovative design ideas that they can take back to their company to affect innovative workforce design.

The new venture is the result of an extensive research and writing project Strickland has been conducting into the world of startup's in Atlanta. Specifically, he has been evaluating the unique cultural attributes which drive innovation in both small, medium and large companies. As the workforce has changed due to the influence of technology and information, many technology organizations have capitalized on new work structure strategies by providing employees with a new level of autonomy, in turn leading to a higher level of engagement. At the same time, many large enterprise organizations are struggling with the level of engagement and loyalty expressed by the previous and current generation of workers.

"I was very fortunate to work alongside so many talented executives and employees at Aaron's during an exciting time in the company's history. Over the course of 14 years we grew to become the market leader through the power of people and culture." said Strickland "I've equally been fortunate to work alongside some exciting up and coming organizations that are driving innovation and change the same way."

Strickland joined Aaron's in 2002, where he later became the Senior Vice President of Associate Resources. He was responsible for the creation, strategy and management of the Associate Resources department supporting more than 12,000 Corporate associates. With a background as an employment attorney, Strickland became a catalyst for change at Aaron's, where he implemented a vision for the importance of culture and associate purpose. He served on the Board of Directors of Warrick Dunn Charities, an Atlanta-based nonprofit, founded by former all-pro running back and philanthropist Warrick Dunn, helping single parents and children thrive academically, socially and economically. He has been recognized by his peers with numerous accolades including Global HR Top 10 Breakaway Leader by EVANTA. Strickland holds a Juris Doctor from Stetson University and a B.A. Political Science degree from Florida State University.
