MATTOON, IL - First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust is pleased to announce that Julie White, Branch Manager for the DeSoto, Illinois banking center, has also assumed responsibilities for the Murphysboro banking center. In her expanded role, White will be responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of the banking centers located at 1709 Walnut Street in Murphysboro and 102 North Chestnut in De Soto.
"Julie has broad banking experience, and she can provide leadership and supervision to promote a superior level of customer service at these branches," said Angela Boyd, Regional Deposit Manager.
White began her banking career in 1989 as a Teller, Assistant Manager and Branch Manager with First National Bank, later becoming Old National Bank. She is very active in the De Soto Community, volunteering for the De Soto Lions Club, the De Soto Foundation, and creating Community Christmas Baskets.
