Finland issued 3 billion euros ($3.26 billion) in new April 2055-dated government bonds via a bank syndicate on Wednesday, one of the lead manager banks said.

The spread on the bond was set 56 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said. The bond has a 2.950% coupon and it was priced at 99.584, at a yield of 2.971%, the same bank said.

Joint lead managers of the transaction were Barclays, BofA, Danske Bank, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE.
