Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin, and Dr. Patrick Wolf will be speaking at the second annual Northwest Arkansas School Choice Festival, where Arkansas schools will showcase their unique programs and services. The event runs 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Jones Center.

There will be food and entertainment, arts and crafts, games, and raffle prizes, along with free swimming and ice skating.

The event is open to the public, and 1,500 people are expected.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2018, which will feature more than 32,000 school choice events across all 50 states.

“Education improves quality of life and plays a crucial role in securing economic progress," said Heather Holaway, Executive Director of Northwest Arkansas School Choice. “By building strong partnerships with other educators and empowering families, we’re building an even brighter Northwest Arkansas–together.”

The Jones Center is located at 992 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, AR 72764.
