EthosEnergy : awarded a modernization contract from ENEA Wytwarzanie

Lubliniec, PL- EthosEnergy has been awarded a modernization contract by ENEA Wytwarzanie sp. z o.o. for work at their Power Station in Kozienice, Poland.

The contract is for the modernization of a unit 8 generator stator including manufacturing stator bars, testing and inspecting the core with EL-CID method and rewinding the stator with new modernized bars.

Grzegorz Kotte, Technical Vice President of the Management Board for ENEA Wytwarzanie said, 'EthosEnergy's experience and extensive capabilities demonstrated on previous projects with us proved they were the right choice for this project.

'Their ability to carry out the full modernization, replacing the old stator bars with newly manufactured, modernized bars has added significant value to our Kozienice Power Station.'

Fryderyk Zebik, President of EthosEnergy Poland S.A., said 'Our manufacturing capabilities meant that we were able to upgrade the parts of the unit 8 generator, extending the life of both the generator and the power station.

'The technology applied within this project will also help to eliminate troublesome breakdowns which can be connected with winding leakage, insulation condition and other expected failures.'
