Enventure, the world's leading provider of SET® solid expandable solutions for the energy industry, announced today that the company has set a world record for the longest 5-1/2 in. SET solid expandable CHL liner. The liner was successfully installed with zero recordable safety incidents for an operator in the Middle East.

The record installation was performed in a power water injector well to repair a badly corroded 7 in. liner. To keep the reduction in the well's internal diameter (ID) to a minimum, the operator cleaned out the corroded 7 in. liner and ran a 5-1/2 in. SET®liner. The successful installation provided an internal diameter of 5.570 in. which allows higher injection rates with less friction loss than any conventional scab liner.

"As a result of our previous success in the Middle East, Enventure was able to provide the best solution for this well in the most timely and cost efficient manner," said Stacey Andrews, Senior Operations Manager, Eastern Hemisphere, for Enventure. "We are pleased to have achieved another world record for our SET solid expandable technology and will continue to innovate new technology that helps our clients meet their goals."

Since its founding 15 years ago, Enventure has "Been There and Done That" in virtually every basin and formation type in the world, and in regions such as Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.
