The EnOcean Alliance member companies are paving the way with innovative technology to achieve ambitious goals for a significantly improved carbon footprint."

Alliance of industry leaders
The EnOcean Alliance is a non-profit organization that promotes the interoperable, international EnOcean wireless standard, which helps to make buildings smarter and more energy-efficient. The basis for the communication standard resides in the ability for EnOcean-enabled devices to harvest energy from their surrounding environment, like motion, indoor light or temperature differentials. These ultra-low power products are therefore able to be self-powered and don't need to rely on batteries, which makes them maintenance-free. Currently 350 leading companies worldwide belong to the Alliance, providing more than 1,200 interoperable products. In recent months, several additional industry leaders have joined the EnOcean Alliance, including Schneider Electric, LIXIL Corporation, Toshiba, Helvar or Hubbell.
