TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2014) - The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and The Chase Hospitality Group joined forces this past weekend to host the SickKids Innovators brunch at The Chase. The brunch brought together thought leaders, fundraisers, and the medical community to celebrate innovation in Toronto and the health and care of children.

SickKids Innovators, an exciting new initiative launched by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), allows members to address the highest priority needs at the Hospital. It is an exclusive group of like-minded philanthropists and business leaders who are committed to making a difference. Joined together with The Chase Hospitality Group, the event shone a light on some of the future leaders in Toronto. Steven Salm, owner of The Chase Hospitality Group and The Chase Toronto, spoke of his commitment to the Hospital's initiatives as well as his commitment to changing people's lives and creating innovation through the hospitality industry.

The exclusive brunch of 30 guests was hosted by Steven Salm and prepared by world -renowned chef, Michael Steh of The Chase Toronto. They were joined by Dr. Adam Rapoport Medical Director of Palliative Care & Bereavement Care Services; Jonathan Tick and Robert Klopot of DECK Agency; Shane Mungal of Quintessentially Canada, Colin Hennigar, Associate Director of Major Gifts at SickKids Foundation, and various members of SickKids Innovators members.
