Denmark State Bank Announces Promotions and New Hires

DENMARK, Wisconsin (January 16, 2017) - The management team and board of directors of Denmark State Bank are pleased to announce the following promotions:

Sara Halfmann, promoted to Vice President / Mortgage Banking Manager.

Halfmann has been with Denmark State Bank for 9 years and oversees the bank's mortgage department. She is an expert in mortgage compliance and regulation and an active community volunteer including the Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes, the Bay Area Humane Society Board of Directors and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.

Chris Mueller, promoted to Vice President / Senior Internal Auditor.

Mueller, who has been with Denmark State Bank for 2 years, has over 25 years of banking experience and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).

Toby Olsen, promoted to Vice President / Business Banker.

A commercial, agribusiness and special assets lending expert, Olsen has been with Denmark State Bank for 14 years. He is also Treasurer of the Denmark Booster Club and an active community volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes and Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Nikki Coolman, promoted to Assistant Vice President / Treasury.

Coolman, who has been with Denmark State Bank for nearly 2 years, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 11 years of banking experience and 15 years of diverse accounting experience. Her expertise is in treasury management and risk analysis.

Mitchell Frydrych, promoted to Assistant Vice President / Information Technology Officer.

With over 16 years of Information Technology experience, Frydrych has been with Denmark State Bank for 3 years. He is a Certified Banking Cybersecurity Manager and a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking Technology Management and Bank Technology Security Schools.

Katie Lovin, promoted to Assistant Vice President / Deposit Operations Manager.

Lovin has been with Denmark State Bank for nearly 2 years and oversees the banks Deposit Operations which includes eBanking, debit cards and the Call Center.

Tim Blattner, LPL Financial Services Advisor.

Tim has more than 14 years of experience as a Licensed Advisor. He specializes in providing families, business owners and their employees with financial services focused on their unique needs and financial goals.

Michael Ebbensgard, Branch Operations Manager.

With more than 17 years of banking experience in branch management and other management and support roles, Ebbensgard will oversee branch operations for the bank.

David Engelbert, Chief Credit Officer.

Engelbert has been working in various positions within the financial industry for more than 19 years. He was most recently in charge of credit administration with duties of Chief Lending Officer.

Mark Goltz, Branch Manager - new Howard Office, opening early 2017.

Goltz joins Denmark State Bank with 18 years' experience as a Branch Manager, Private Banker and Regional Loan Service Center Manager. He has spent the past 7 years as a Financial Advisor helping clients with their insurance and investment needs.

Julie Hamby, Branch Manager - new Town of Lawrence Office, opening early 2017.

Hamby has been working in financial services since 1998 with over 9 years' as a branch manager. She joins Denmark State Bank from Elavon, a payment solutions company.

Lisa Sment, Branch Manager - Denmark Office.

With over 13 years of banking experience, Sment is an active member of the community serving on the Allouez Planning Commission, as Vice President and Treasurer for the local Lions Club, Board Member for the Optimist Club and Junior Achievement volunteer.
