Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC (“Brookwood”), a leading real estate investment and asset management company, today announced David Graves has joined the firm as a Vice President and Asset Manager of the firm’s Texas portfolio, which is comprised of approximately 1.4 million square feet located in Dallas and San Antonio.

Mr. Graves’ primary responsibility is to oversee the leasing, property management, budgeting and financial analysis for the firm’s properties in Texas. “We are very pleased to have someone with David’s real estate experience join us as we expand our property management and asset management team in Texas,” stated Kurt Zernich, Brookwood’s Director of Asset Management. “Given the number of properties we have acquired in Texas over the last few years, our pipeline of potential acquisitions and our intense focus on creating value, repositioning the property and leasing space, we are confident David will have an immediate impact here at Brookwood.”

Prior to joining Brookwood, Mr. Graves worked as a director of asset management for Equity Office Properties, a subsidiary of the Blackstone Group, for a portfolio of approximately 5 million square feet in Chicago, Minneapolis and Southfield, MI. Previously, he was a senior property manager for Trammell Crow Co. and a property accountant at Merit Energy Co.

Mr. Graves graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He also holds the RPA and CCIM designations.
