Daelim bagged the project to construct the Sliding Center (Bobsleigh, Skeleton, and Luge Track) ordered by Gangwon Province on December 19, 2013. The construction of Bobsleigh, Skeleton, and Luge Track is a project implemented for the first time in Korea and for the second time in Asia after Japan. The total contract amount is KRW 97 billion, with Daelim Civil Work Business Division having a 49% stake or KRW 47.5 billion.

The Sliding Center will be built at a 177,000 m2 site around Yongsan-ri, Daegwanryeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do; the total track length is designed to be 2,018m in commemoration of the year of hosting the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The refrigeration facility, bobsleigh stand, and infrastructure construction required for the games will be constructed together. All constructions are scheduled to be finished before February 2018 when the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games kick off.
