Criteo : Average gross earnings for November 2019 9.0% higher than earnings for the previous month

Average earnings for November 2019 higher than earnings for October 2019 mostly due to higher extra payments paid with earnings for November 2019
Average gross earnings for November 2019 amounted to EUR 1,897.90. Compared to gross earnings for October 2019 they were higher in nominal terms by 9.0% and in real terms by 8.9%. Average net earnings for November 2019 amounted to EUR 1,234.75. Compared to net earnings for October 2019 they were higher in nominal terms by 10.0% and in real terms by 9.9%.

Similarly as in the previous years, average earnings for November 2019 increased (compared to earnings for October 2019) mostly due to higher extra payments (13^th month payments and Christmas bonuses) paid with earnings for November.

Extra payments paid with earnings for November 2019 were received by 23.3% of persons in paid employment who received earnings (i.e. 0.1 percentage point more than in November 2018). Average extra payments paid with earnings for November 2019 amounted to EUR 723.92 gross.

Average earnings for November 2019 (compared to earnings for October 2019) increased more in the private sector
Compared to earnings for October 2019, average net earnings for November 2019 increased in both sectors: in the private sector by 12.9% and in the public sector by 5.0% (in the institutional sector general government they went up by 2.2%).

Average earnings for November 2019 the highest in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply
Compared to earnings for October 2019, average net earnings for November 2019 increased the most in financial and insurance activities (by 24.2%). The increase by more than 15.0% was noticed also in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 24.0%) and in manufacturing (by 16.5%).

Average net earnings for November 2019 were the highest in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (EUR 1,974.56).
