We have responded to the Department for Transport's call for evidence on air pollutant emissions from domestic vessels and inland waterways.
Our response includes our updated environmental guidance for boaters with specific information relating to London, legislation, propulsion, electricity generation, stoves and water pollution.
The Government are seeking to understand more clearly the extent of emissions from vessels that do not currently fall within the scope of environmental regulations and to establish if government can do more to address emission issues.
