SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 26, 2018) - Saturday, January 27 San Antonio residents are invited to dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) and old medications for free from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Rigsby Drop Off Center, 2755 Rigsby Avenue, 78222.

Residents who need to dispose of unwanted hazardous materials such as antifreeze, motor oil, paint, pesticides, batteries, old computers or cell phones should bring a recent copy of their CPS Energy utility bill along with a picture ID to enter the event.

In addition to this Solid Waste Management HHW event, the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) will be having a MedDrop SA event. Residents are encouraged to bring unwanted medications to be disposed of safely and in a proper manner. Needles and other 'sharps' are not accepted. No copy of a resident's CPS Energy bill is needed to participate in MedDrop.
