China commercial banks sell net $56 billion of forex in 2019

China's commercial banks bought a net $2.2 billion of foreign exchange in December, compared with net sales of $5.6 billion in November, the foreign exchange regulator said on Friday.

For the full year of 2019, net foreign exchange sales stood at $56 billion, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said.
