The DeVry Education Group Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, has partnered with Carrington College to establish The Scholarship Fund of Carrington College. The merit- and need-based scholarships will help continuing students pursue their education.

The Scholarship Fund of Carrington College is now accepting applications from Carrington students who are currently enrolled in any associate degree program and are in good academic standing.

Carrington College, the starting point for health care careers, offers associate degree and certificate programs at 18 campuses located in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Health care is an industry with tremendous growth and potential, with an estimated 5 million jobs to fill by 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics1.

“Our students make big sacrifices to continue their education in order to pursue their dreams and help others,” said Jeff Akens, president of Carrington College. “The Scholarship Fund is part of our ongoing commitment to student success by providing financial support to help reduce educational expenses.”

The college will award a total of 32 scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to students from various campuses. Eligible students can apply online by Feb. 15 at http://bit.ly/CarringtonCollegeScholarship. Scholarship awards, totaling $48,000 for the first year, will be announced in May.
