CURE® magazine, the nation’s leading consumer digital and print media enterprise dedicated entirely to patients with cancer, is extending the nomination deadline for its inaugural Ovarian Cancer Heroes™ Award program to Jan. 29.

“We have received a great response so far from nominators,” said Michael J. Hennessy Jr, president of Michael J. Hennessy Associates, parent company of CURE® magazine. “We are extending the submission deadline to keep the momentum going and to give a chance to all heroes in the field of ovarian cancer to be recognized for their impressive efforts.”

The Ovarian Cancer Heroes™ Award gala will take place on March 23 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, during the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer. The program honors individuals who have made incredible contributions in the field of ovarian cancer through awareness efforts, education, and research and in the lives of patients by providing dedicated and compassionate care. Individuals can be nominated by peers, patients and caregivers for their heroic contributions in the field.
