At CES 2014, music technology and software development company Zivix, debuts the final pre-production versions of the JamStik and the PUC TM Wireless Instrument Link, announces product availability and reveals the companion apps, JamTutor and JamMix.

With real strings and real frets, the JamStik, through it's patented sensing system, can see the player's fingers, providing users the first of its kind system to learn and play the guitar. Play it almost anywhere on your favorite device with no tuning, low latency and wireless midi connectivity. Beyond learning, it also works as a controller that digitally connects with 100s of MIDI apps, allowing for unlimited uses. JamStik is a finalist for the Last Gadget Standing award, which will be announced January 9 at the show.

From composing in GarageBand®, creating riveting loops in Loopy, to accessing thousands of unique instrument sounds, the JamStik provides every level of player, from the beginner to the performer, an amazing platform to experience music. Launched and successfully funded on Indiegogo, the instrument connects to iPads, iPhones, Macs and compatible PCs.

"The JamStik allows any level of player to have fun immediately with JamMix, to easily manipulate and control a variety of musical sounds," said Chad Koehler, vice president of Zivix. "Our patented finger-sensing technology provides a new, interactive gateway to learn guitar anywhere at your own pace, building transferable skills and providing seasoned players an authentic experience connected to the digital world.

The other innovative product on display from Zivix is the PUC, a wireless interface that connects any MIDI device (Keyboard, Drum Machine, Foot Pedal) without the tyranny of wires to CoreMIDI-compatible apps, such as GarageBand®, Animoog®, NAVE® and hundreds of others. Its pocket-sized, rugged design allows for easy portability and on-the-go connectivity.

Zivix will have flexible availability to rock out with the JamStik and the PUC during CES 2014.
