Berkshire Group announced Peter Hess has joined the company as Vice President, Head of Corporate Tax. In this role, he will ensure tax compliance for numerous corporate entities, as well as provide guidance and support to the firm’s investment and operational teams on tax-related matters.

“Peter’s extensive tax experience as well as his familiarity with the real estate realm makes him a great addition to our growing company,” stated Chris Nichols, Berkshire Group’s Chief Operating and Administrative Officer.

Prior to joining Berkshire Group, Peter spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston and Washington D.C., where he was most recently a Tax Director working for clients within the real estate investment management industry, which included traditional and non-traditional REITs, real estate developers and cross-border investors.
