The first of four courses under the BOV Education Programme 2018 kicked off on the 9thof January at The Victoria Hotel in Sliema.

This year's programme includes various topics such as success planning, power of attorneys, card fraud and chargebacks as well as the Depositor Compensation Scheme.

Speaking about the Programme, John Paul Abela, the Bank's Investor Relations Officer explained, 'I am pleased to see Bank officials disseminating knowledge and best practices with the general public. Year on year, participation has been on the increase - following last year's success this year's keen participation ties in well with the Bank's belief in the value of holistic education, a principle that governs its education pillar under the BOV Community Programme,' said John Paul Abela, the Bank's Investor Relations Officer.

The Bank will be hosting three other courses between February and April 2018, at different venues, including one in Gozo. Every course consists of six sessions of two hours. Two of the courses are being delivered in English, whereas the other two will be delivered in Maltese.

Participation is free of charge, however, as seating capacity is limited, booking is required by contacting the Investor Relations Office on (+356) 22757570 or by email on iro@bov.com
