As Malta gears up to take on the title of European Capital of Culture, Bank of Valletta which is the preferred partner of Valletta 2018 Foundation, has dressed up its premises in Valletta to mark this important milestone.

The premises in Triq ir-Repubblika, which houses the branch, International Personal Banking and the Investment Centre feature the artwork of the European Capital of Culture with prominence both on the façade as well as inside. The balconies have also been dressed up for the occasion. Likewise the Bank has dressed up the façades of its International Corporate Centre in Triq San Zakkarija and the offices in Triq Nofsinhar. In addition the Bank is paying homage to Valletta's title by cladding the internal street of BOV Centre at Santa Venera.

Bank of Valletta has strong ties with the capital city that go back over four decades to the very day when it was set up.

The European Capital of Culture is one of the most high-profile cultural initiatives in Europe. Valletta ticked all the boxes, with its unique blend of history and architectural gems that are living testimony of the European and Mediterranean development over the past centuries. Furthermore, the initiatives undertaken over the past years, as well as the activities earmarked for this year will contribute to the long-term development of our capital.
