November 2013's monthly index of economic activity, IMACEC
According to preliminary information, in November 2013 the IMACEC increased
2.8% over the same month the previous year. The seasonally-adjusted series rose 0.5% with respect to the previous month, and 2.8% in twelve months.
The month came with the same number of working days as November 2012.
The result reflected mainly the increase in mining activity, partly offset by a drop in manufacturing and the poor performance of wholesale trade.
