Azerbaijan Statisticians’ Study Visit

Implementing the EU Twinning Project "Support to the State Statistical Committee and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy to strengthen collection, harmonization, analysis, publishing and dissemination of business statistics", AZ/16/ENI/ST/01/19 (AZ/53), on 17-21 January 2022 a physical study visit on Business statistics surveys organisation was organised at Statistics Lithuania. Delegation of the 10 representatives from Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee and the State Tax Service took part in this study visit. During the visit colleagues from Azerbaijan were introduced with production of Business statistics data at SL; overview of the main sub-processes according to the process map; production of Short-Term Business statistics and commodities statistics surveys follow the GSBPM; SBS/SME data acquisition; administrative data used, software; common sampling practice at SL; overview of statistical surveys on activity of industrial enterprises, on trade and catering enterprises, on construction, and on investment; publication and dissemination of business statistical data. During this study visit remote session with the users from the company "Versli Lietuva" was organised.
