Appian : Announces the Appointment of Xavier Grimaud as Regional VP for France

PARIS, France - Appian (NASDAQ:APPN), a leading global provider of low-code application development and BPM software, has just announced the appointment of Xavier Grimaud to the position of Regional VP for France. Xavier is the first to hold this position in France and his appointment is part of Appian's growth drive in Europe. This hire enables Appian to expand its reach to help organizations tackle growing digital transformation requirements through low code technology.

Appian has been enjoying strong growth in Europe for a number of years now. Companies throughout the region have already realized that driving digital transformation is vital if they are to create more value and provide their customers with better service. Xavier Grimaud's task at Appian France will be to develop the business and ensure the company's long-term growth. He'll be involved in sales, developing new solutions, and managing international projects.

Xavier Grimaud is joining Appian after more than 25 years' experience in the IT and technology sector, 15 of which were spent abroad. He began his career with Microsoft in the US, where he was in involved in localizing software. He then joined Oracle France and also worked for three software companies - Easy Vista, Vignette France, and Opentext. Before joining Appian, Xavier was SEMEA Director with VMware where he spent 7 years. Throughout his career, he has been involved in developing business in France, Europe, and the Middle East.
