LONDON (Reuters) - Annual net migration to the United Kingdom fell to 685,000 in the year to the end of December 2023, official data showed on Thursday, with the ongoing high levels of arrivals set to be a major battleground of Britain's July 4 election.

The ONS said their latest estimate of people arriving in the previous year, ending December 2022, was 764,000 people.
