Announcement posted to Hive ransomware group's site says it has been seized by FBI

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The leak website run by the Hive ransomware gang says it has been seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, suggesting that the group was recently disrupted by international law enforcement.

It was not immediately possible to authenticate the message, which is similar to other announcements posted to cybercriminals' websites in the wake of major police action.

The FBI and the European police organization Europol did not immediately return messages seeking comment. Reuters was not immediately able to locate contact details for Hive.
