The conference features Dr. Mark Gold, Dr. Patrick Carnes and other notable experts in the addiction field. Presentations will be offered January 24, 2018, from 12 noon to 5pm ET.

Registrants have the convenient option of attending the online event at the scheduled time or may view a recording of the presentations afterward. The entire conference will be offered online for attendees, alleviating the inconvenience of travel time and expense. Patrick Carnes, Ph.D., will present "Sexual Addiction in 2018: Causes, Trends & Solutions".  Dr. Carnes is the founder of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and a Senior Fellow of The Meadows.  His achievements include the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), where they now award an annual "Carnes Award" to researchers and clinicians who have made exceptional contributions to the field of sexual health.

Steve Wright, LCPC, RDDP, will present "Families and Addiction: Understanding the Development of the Addiction Family System and Supporting Recovery."  He is a therapist at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center. He served for more than 25 years as a minister working in churches with youth, families and as a senior pastor. As a counselor, he worked in residential treatment as a therapist, supervisor, and program director first in the substance abuse and eating disorder field.

Nikki Dubose will present "Addiction in the Modeling Field." Nikki is a model, author, and advocate. She is the Co-Founder of The Artists League for Change, a national nonprofit dedicated to preventing mental health issues and abuse through the creative arts, and is an Ambassador for the Shaw Mind Foundation. Her debut memoir, "Washed Away: From Darkness to Light" will be released in French in 2018 with Editions du Rocher.
