A team led by ASRC Federal Space and Defense was recently awarded a $50 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from Lockheed Martin for civil space support. ASRC Federal Space and Defense will provide engineering and technical support to Lockheed Martin on a variety of work for government agencies, including NASA and the U.S. Air Force.

The period of performance on the Lockheed Martin Civil Space IDIQ contract is January 2014 to January 2017, with two one-year options. The ASRC Federal Space and Defense team includes approximately 15 companies, including ASRC Federal Mission Solutions Engineering, which has been a longtime partner on the Lockheed Martin-led Aegis team and a recipient of the corporation's STAR Supplier Award. Work will be performed in multiple locations, including Cape Canaveral, Fla., Sunnyvale, Calif., Denver and Houston.
