ASG Technologies, a leading provider of proven solutions for information access, management and control, today announced nine consecutive quarters of year-over-year license revenue growth. This revenue growth is a testament to ASG’s commitment to its customers, providing information management and systems solutions that add value to their businesses and help to make them successful.

According to research conducted by Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, the volume of business data worldwide doubles every 1.2 years. While global business data presents tremendous opportunity for organizations to operate more strategically, many companies struggle to harness the power of the information available to them. In fact, a recent Interana report uncovered that 70 percent of organizations surveyed do not get critical insights from their data.

“The rise of digital solutions, and the wealth of data they yield, has drastically changed the way businesses operate,” said Swamy Viswanathan, executive vice president and chief product officer, ASG Technologies. “To compete in today’s market, organizations need to take advantage of data-driven insights – and that starts with being able to efficiently access, manage and control their data. At ASG, we’re constantly assessing market needs and opportunities to give our clients the tools they need to win in the market.”

To help enterprises more effectively access, manage and glean timely, information-rich insights, ASG has continued to invest in its leading suite of data solutions, announcing version updates to its core products in the past 12 months. These updates have included:

  • Mobius 7: A set of content services that manage and deliver any type of information into content-driven applications and processes with speed, accuracy and reliability. Flexible deployment on cloud, on-premises or in hybrid environments supports web-scale applications and legacy repository consolidation while minimizing infrastructure costs.
  • Enterprise Data Intelligence 9: A solution that provides data and application understanding to enable data transparency and trust, and ultimately meets modern data management challenges, including regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, KYC/AML, BCBS 239, CCAR), big data analytics, application modernization and change impact analysis.
  • Workspaces 10: An end-to-end enterprise platform that enables the 24/7 workforce by aggregating information, cloud services, applications and processes into a single workplace that’s accessible anywhere, on any device. Workspaces 10 delivers an engaging user experience with centralized, policy-based administration for security and compliance.
  • Systems: A comprehensive set of IT Operations Management products that enable organizations to modernize their IT environments while reducing the cost and optimizing utilization of hardware and software resources through performance monitoring, capacity planning and enterprise workload automation.

Investing in customer success has been a major theme for ASG in 2017. In September and October, the company hosted its annual EVOLVE Conferences to provide customers with a forum for sharing best practices and lessons learned, in addition to connecting with ASG executives. ASG customers including Citigroup attended the EVOLVE event in Washington D.C., and Postbank Systems AG and ING attended a second EVOLVE conference in Paris to serve European customers. Customer presenters spoke specifically about the value of data governance, offering tried and true best practices for optimizing data through ASG solutions.

Liberty Mutual Principle Software Developer Bryan Harrison spoke about the insurance carrier’s use of ASG’s Mobius solution. Addressing the evolving challenges of the insurance industry, Harrison described how Liberty Mutual required a high volume, flexible solution that could house its records and reports and ultimately help it eliminate internal data centers by moving to a public cloud.

“ASG’s Mobius has allowed us to stay nimble in a changing market,” said Harrison. “By implementing Mobius on Amazon Web Services, we anticipate significant cost savings and can reinvest those savings into development, rather than ongoing maintenance. ASG has not only helped us improve our bottom line and better compete in the market, but pave the way for greater innovation in the years to come.”

ASG also announced its global partner program at the EVOLVE conference, bringing its value-added solutions to a broader segment of its customer base. Through partnerships with global outsourcers and systems integrators, such as Wipro, solution providers engrained in specific industries or technologies, such as Zia Consulting, and providers of complementary software solutions, like Ephesoft, ASG has been able to deliver its innovative and cost-effective solutions to more and more customers.

By delivering more valuable customer experiences, ASG has continued to bring strategic value to some of the world’s largest brands in 2017. To accommodate increased demand for its suite of enterprise technologies and improve support response time, ASG launched a new software development center in Chennai, India and designated its offices in Rye, New York and Barcelona, Spain as anchor development locations.

Adding employees to these and other locations, the company continues to grow its employee base, most significantly by adding talent to the development, product management, customer care, marketing and sales/channels teams. Some of the key roles added this year include bringing world-class SVP leaders to ASG in the areas of Global Marketing, Product Management, Customer Care and Sales for Latin America. ASG plans to grow its employee count by 16 percent in 2018.

According to a July 2017 ratings report on ASG from Moody’s Investors Service, ASG’s positive ratings are a result of rebounding “software license sales… in the last 12 months driven by good sales execution under the new leadership and strategic R&D investments.”

“2017 was a year of remarkable growth for ASG,” said Charles Sansbury, CEO, ASG Technologies. “As we look toward 2018, we plan to build upon the past year’s successes to further invest in our customers and give them the tools they need to create new business opportunities and win in the market.”
