In the interest of the investment community and with the aim of avoiding erroneous information and possible speculation on the topic, Đuro Đaković Holding d.d. continues to post information key to the company's operations. After its announcement published yesterday regarding the successful signing of an agreement on the manufacture and delivery of freight wagons between Đuro Đaković Specijalna vozila d.d., a company of the Đuro Đaković Group, and French client Ermewa Ferroviaire, the company announces that it has recently submitted a bid to the Kuwaiti Defence Ministry for its procurement of armoured fighting vehicles.
To recap: this is a multiannual procurement process and follows on the successful completion of testing in August of 2013 when the company secured a place on the shortlist of bidders. In the second half of 2014 the Kuwaiti Defence Ministry invited Đuro Đaković Holding d.d. and two other bidders to submit their technical and financial bids for the procurement of armoured fighting vehicles.
Further steps in this process are expected from the client. In particular, we wish to underline the fact that the company's inclusion on the shortlist of bidders does not guarantee that its bid will be accepted, i.e. that the contract will be won.
