Willie Muehlhausen

Mr. Muehlhausen is a successful serial intrapreneur with more than 20 years of experience in clinical research and clinical trial technologies.
During his career he has lived in Germany, the US, UK and Ireland while working for global CROs including PAREXEL International and ICON.
He led ICON´s Innovation team for more than 5 years and initiated and supported research and implementation projects in wearable devices, machine learning, AI, electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments, Crowdsourcing and Innovation Strategy.
He is passionate about improving healthcare and the clinical trial process to reduce the burden on patients and site staff.
Mr Muehlhausen has been involved in more than 40 publications and has co-authored to two books on eCOA.
His achievements have been recognized by his industry peers with the inclusion in PharmaVoice100 in 2015 and in the Centerwatch Top20 Innovators in 2018.
Mr Muehlhausen received his veterinary degree from the Free University in Berlin, Germany.
