Mr. Vishal G.
Mahtani, CFA, is an Executive Director at Fosun Asset Management Ltd.
He is responsible for credit research of Global Financial Institutions (banks, asset managers and BDCs) and Sovereign bonds.
Prior to joining Fosun Asset Management in 2015, he started his career at Fidelity International in Hong Kong where he was lead analyst for North Asian and Indian financials as well as covering Asian Telecoms and Asian and Middle Eastern Sovereigns.
He was also responsible for the management of two of Fidelity's money market funds, with aggregate AUM of US$450mm and Fidelity's Indian Multi-Strategy Asset Allocation Funds.
Then he led the BofA Merrill Lynch's Asian bank credit research team from 2011 to 2015 and was part of the #2 ranked Asian credit research team by Institutional Investor.
Throughout his career in Asia, he has amassed over 15 years of credit research, portfolio management and trading experience with a macro and fixed income focus.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree with double major in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
He is a CFA charterholder.
