He began his investment career at Nuveen Investments in 1986 and was Senior Vice President and Principal at Stein Roe & Farnham from 1989 through 1999.
Prior to joining McDonnell, he was Vice President at Northern Trust, for more than four years.
Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has been an active member and served as a board member of the Chicago Municipal Analysts Society.
He is also a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
