Tej Kanani

Tej Kanani joined Sierra Ventures in 2020 and focuses on investments in AI/ML, Security, SaaS, and Web3 companies.
Prior to joining Sierra, Tej invested in early-stage startups at VMware within its Corporate Venture team.
He also has an operational background in deal sourcing and Go-To-Market having led efforts in those areas at RedLock (acquired by NYSE: PANW) and with the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets.
Tej holds a B.S.
in Business from Boston University with concentrations in Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
Outside of work, Tej enjoys globetrotting, re-tweeting, playing golf, and tasting coffee beans!
