Ted Wheeler

East Tennessee Economic Council was founded in 1973 and is based in Oak Ridge, TN. The council is an independent, regional, non-profit, membership organization that supports the federal government's missions in science, security, energy, clean up, and partnerships. ETEC fosters economic growth in partnership with federal assets in the region and advocates for leveraging those assets. The council's mission is to tell their story, connect people, and look for new opportunities to create prosperity and promote regional development. ETEC is at the forefront of new nuclear technologies that have the potential to change the world and has many valuable resources for companies in the nuclear industry.
