Previously, he founded Safir Investments in 2003 in Norwalk, Connecticut, later relocating the firm to Greenland, New Hampshire in 2005.
His lifetime career in the financial services industry also include roles as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Legg Mason Wood Walker and Branch Manager and Corporate Syndicate Manager with Fahnestock & Co. in New York City.
Mr. Safir received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1971.
