Before joining USRG, Mr. Griller held a management position at GE Capital as Vice President, Global Risk Asset Management, with responsibilities for leading asset due diligence, construction oversight for project investments (ranging from $50 million to $1 billion), operational monitoring for best practices in an $11 billion energy investment portfolio, technical underwriting, and risk mitigation for investments spanning all levels of the capital structure.
Prior to this, as GE’s Power Generation Programs Manager, he led all of GE’s Apparatus Repair Service Centers’ worldwide audits establishing quality, business, and technical performance standards.
Mr. Griller has extensive experience in environmental regulatory compliance, financial & budget operating analysis, capital budgeting, operational metrics, forensic technical due diligence, project management (including power plant start-up experience), power-generation component repairs, equipment performance testing, and contract negotiation.
Mr. Griller earned an Associates Engineering Degree at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and a BS at the State University of New York, Albany; he also conducted graduate work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute while working for GE.
