Siew Cheong Kong

Mr. Siew Cheong Kong is Chief Marketing Officer at Lion Global Investors Ltd.
Mr. Kong is responsible for developing the firm’s institutional and retail businesses in Singapore and overseas.
He is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s product development and client servicing functions.
Mr. Kong joined Lion GIobal Investors as their Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) in 4 January 2010.
Prior to that, he was at Lion GIobal Investors’ parent company, Great Eastern insurance group from January to December 2009 where he was the Acting Head of Investment Management responsible for the overall management of Great Eastern group’s assets.
Before joining Great Eastern, he was the Regional COO at Prudential Corporation Asia’s funds business from 2001 to 2006 and Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Asset Management (Singapore) Limited (2004 to 2006) and Prudential Services Asia (2006 to 2008) respectively.
Mr. Kong had previously held senior management assignments at SG Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd and worked at Morgan Grenfell Asia & Partners Securities Pte Ltd and Price Waterhouse’s offices in Singapore and London.
Mr. Kong graduated from the London School of Economics with an LLB Law (Second Upper Class Honours) in 1987 and he is also an ACA Chartered Accountant.
