Shutong joined the New York office of OMERS Private Equity in 2021.
As an Associate Director with the team, he is focused on the origination, execution and management of private equity investments.
Shutong has been involved in several minority investments while at OMERS, and is an active member of the Paradigm asset management team.
Prior to joining OMERS, Shutong was a Vice President with Odyssey Financial Infrastructure, where he focused on leveraged buyouts across financial services.
Previously, he was an associate at Leonard Green & Partners and began his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Perella Weinberg.
Shutong graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and has an MBA from Columbia University.
