She enjoys taking a financial planning approach initially, so that she can fully understand a client’s particular situation, overall financial picture, and long-term goals.
By customizing her approach, it allows her to tailor an investment strategy for each individual client’s situation, and prioritize what is most important to them.
Her emphasis on building relationships through active listening and building trust has served her well in working with many individuals, as well as their families over time, and through various stages of their lives.
She believes in active management, and adding value by being disciplined, and proactive in an ever-evolving financial environment.
Ms. Chapman began her career in financial services in 1992 working for Oppenheimer Funds.
Most of her career has been spent with Charles Schwab & Co., where she worked full time.
During her career at Schwab, she was instrumental in their evolution into advice for individual investors, and helped pioneer Schwab Private Client in 2002.
For a period of time, she was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom, where she managed her own portfolio for income, and owned a photography business.
More recently, she worked for BOK Financial as a Senior Wealth Advisor for approximately 4 years.
She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Colorado and earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001.
