Rupe Sidhu
Profile
Mr. Sidhu is a co-founder and Managing Director of Arena Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Arena, he was the Managing Member of Merion Capital Management, LLC, a private investment firm with headquarters in New York City.
Before Merion, Mr. Sidhu worked at Merrill Lynch in the leveraged buyout unit in the firm's mergers and acquisitions department.
Mr. Sidhu was one of the founding partners of MLCP Fund I, a $402 million private equity fund, the first such fund sponsored by a major investment bank.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Sidhu was with the Prudential Insurance Company in the Corporate Finance Department, where he specialized in lending to large and medium-sized corporations as well as investing in leverage buyouts.
Mr. Sidhu received his M.B.A.
from the University of Massachusetts and attended the University of Illinois in the Ph.D.
program.
He received his graduate degree at St. Stephen's College.
Mr. Sidhu is a director of EverBank Financial Corp and CMI Industries, Inc. and is a former director of First USA Paymentech, Eckerd Corp., and AmeriFoods.
