Richard H. Peterson

Richard H.
Peterson is a Member of the Health Care Advisory Committee, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the University of Minnesota Alumni Association.
He has various board and committee responsibilities for the LifeCenter Northwest, the First Choice Health Network, the First Choice Health Plan, the King County United Way, the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Healthcare Forum.
Previously, Mr. Peterson was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Swedish Medical Center from 1995 to June 2006.
Prior to joining Swedish, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fairview Riverside Medical Center which he joined in 1991.
Mr. Peterson also worked as Chairman of the Washington State Hospital Association.
He received a Bachelor's degree from Macalester College and a Master's degree in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota.
