René Gretener

Mr. René Gretener is a Client Advisor at Kraemer, Schwab & Co. AG Investment Management.
He joined the firm in 2011.
Before joining Kraemer, Schwab & Co., he has been working for Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) for 10 years in various functions, of which 3 years in the bank’s dedicated career development team and for the last 3 years as a Portfolio Manager for Asia-based clients.
Then he took on an assignment as Assistant Representative and Business Developer for Bank Leu AG in Hong Kong for 2 years.
Thereafter, he worked at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) Zurich as an Investment Advisor and Business Developer for Asian clients for 4 years while undergoing the bank’s Management Development Program.
He then moved on to BNP Paribas Hong Kong to establish and run the Swiss Private Banking Team of the group’s Swiss subsidiary for 8 years.
Afterward, he returned to the UBS group as Senior Client Advisor, working for UBS Hong Kong during a transition year before moving to the Zurich office for 7 years, servicing Hong Kong-based clients.
He graduated from the Swiss Commercial School.
