Peter Tynan

Mr. Peter Tynan is a Managing Director at Global Environment Fund Management Corp., where he joined in December 2011.
He joins GEF as Managing Director of Sustainability.
Mr. Tynan will continue to institutionalize GEF's long-standing commitment to ESG, integrating the highest standards of excellence and integrity into the firm's investment activities.
He will work closely with the company's investment teams and portfolio company management teams to mitigate Environmental, Social and Governance risks and identify opportunities to enhance the value of GEF's investee companies.
Prior to joining GEF, Mr. Tynan was a Partner at Dalberg Global Advisors, working with institutional LPs on their investments in emerging markets, and focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency, agriculture, and other sustainability-related sectors.
Mr. Tynan holds a MBA from Harvard Business School, a MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Business with First Class Honours and the University Medal, from the University of Technology, Sydney.
