Prior to joining AGF in 2006, Ms. Trainor began her career as a chemical engineer in nuclear safety for Ontario's largest electricity provider.
She switched to the investment industry with a summer position in Equity Research at Merrill Lynch Canada and then spent two years in various roles at RBC Investments prior to joining AGF.
Ms. Trainor earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University, holds the Professional Engineer of Ontario designation and earned an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
