Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Budak was an Associate in Goldman Sach's Financial Institutions Group where he focused on the coverage of insurance companies, banks and financial technology firms.
Before that, he was with the Turkish Defense Ministry, first as a pilot and then as a Project Manager.
Mr. Budak received his MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
He received a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
