Maurice Fitzgerald

Mr. Maurice Fitzgerald is a Managing Director at Avoca Capital Holdings.
He joined Avoca Capital in 2007.
His current responsibilities include Credit Management and Investment Analysis.

Mr. Fitzgerald started his career in the leasing arm of KBC in the UK, where he spent 2 years.
Between 1994 and 1998, he worked for Mizuho in London and Shanghai, in a variety of corporate finance and acquisition finance roles.
In 1998, he returned to work for KBC acquisition finance in London.
Mr. Fitzgerald joined Bank of Ireland from KBC in 1999, initially concentrating on the UK acquisition finance market with a core focus on the German market from 2003 onwards.
In 2006 he established Bank of Ireland�s Frankfurt branch and oversaw the development of the bank�s German market strategy.
He has wide experience in originating and executing senior and mezzanine debt participations and sub-underwritings and also structured a number of lead transactions over the 2004-2007 periods.
