Martyn Richard Simpson

Mr. Martyn R.
Simpson, CFA, is an Investment Officer at Colchester Global Investors Ltd.
He has been with the firm since April 2015.
He manages portfolios, monitors risk on a daily basis and conducts fundamental economic research.
Mr. Simpson began his career in 1999 at Baring Asset Management in London where he was a member of the global fixed income team.
From there he moved to Rand Merchant Bank in 2004 to manage offshore bond exposures for the company.
In 2009, he joined Mercer where he evaluated fixed income managers across a range of strategies, initially in London but then transferring to Singapore in 2012.
He graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Politics and East Asian Studies.
He then received a full scholarship from SOAS where he completed an MA in Korean Studies.
