Profile

Mr. Lefebvre began his career as an ASIC designer for Bell-Northern Research, now Nortel Networks.
In 1989, he became a professor with the Department of Electronics of Carleton University, in Ottawa where he supervised a group of fifteen graduate students and research engineers developing computer aided design tools for the physical design of integrated circuits.
Mr. Lefebvre was the founder of Cadabra Design Automation, an EDA company focused on automating the development of design libraries that was later acquired by Numerical Technologies.
