Lisa Sherman

Mrs. Sherman joined MCD in 2016 as the Accounting and Office Manager and greatly enjoys working closely with Tim and David in this role.
The work is diverse and exciting and the partnership truly a pleasure.
An accountant for over 30 years, her career has been varied and interesting, much like her work at MCD.
Out of college, she began as the Controller for a large restaurant group in the DC area (Monolith Enterprises dba The American Café); she would later serve in the same capacity for Hidden Creek Country Club in Reston and some time later, for an expanding private retail organization (West Federal Retail dba Crème de la Crème and Lou Lou) in Middleburg.
For 10 years she was in Development at her children’s K-8 school, The Hill School, where her administrative and marketing skills were put to use.
Since forming LMS Accounting 4 years ago, her work, in addition to MCD, serves non-profit, retail, and private clients.
Mrs. Sherman graduated from Georgetown University, has been married for 35 years, and she and her husband, George, have 3 sons.
They’ve lived in Middleburg for 32 years where Lisa enjoys being active in the community and has served on many local school and community boards.
Family time and travel are her most favorite things.
